Sports Den Fishing .. Nothing Like it in Alaska
The Sports Den is ideally located in the Kenai Peninsula, renowned as a sportsman’s paradise. We're at the center of world famous salmon runs, at Cook Inlet, home of the barn-door halibut, and minutes from spectacular fly-in fishing.
Fishing starts mid-May with the early runs of the famous Kenai King salmon. We fish through late September and mid-October as the acrobatic Silver salmon and Steelhead trout make their last runs. Visit our Kenai fishing calendar to plan your next trip.
Throughout the season, the Sports Den’s fly-in airplane and helicopter fishing services can introduce you to trophy salmon, rainbow trout, arctic char, pike, and grayling fishing.
Our fishing charters include fishing for King (Chinook), Silver (Coho), Red (Sockeye), and Pink (Humpie) salmon. We guide the Kenai, Kasilof, Anchor, Deep Creek, Russian and Ninilchik rivers.
You can also enjoy saltwater fishing for King salmon and halibut at Deep Creek and Homer. Fly-in fishing includes Kenai’s wonderful high mountain lakes, as well as the Iliamna, Bristol Bay and Cook Inlet drainages.
